I'm pretty certain the email text can be recoverd but I don't know how to do it. How do I find Outbox?

How can I find an email which hasn't been sent but vanished because I accidentally switched to chat format?
You will want to check your Drafts folder. Sometimes Yahoo automatically saves incomplete emails there. But if you switched to chat and sent the information to the recipient that way, then it might be lost. I'm not certain that Yahoo logs chat conversations.
